MitaMed was formed by Mr. Michael Loftus and Dr. Declan Soden.
Mr. Michael Loftus
Michael is the CEO of MitaMed. He has extensive business experience in the medical device sector.
Previously, he was General Manager for Becton Dickinson (BD) in Ireland for several years
and has broad international operations experience. Michael has a comprehensive network
in all areas of business development and deployment.
Dr. Declan Soden
Declan brings a wealth of research and management experience to MitaMed and has been involved
in the Cork Cancer Research Centre for over a decade. He is the principle investigator
and patent holder of the technology. Declan has successfully been awarded grants in Ireland
and the EU and has published extensively in gene and drug delivery to cancer.
